GamCare provides free, specialist counselling for anyone experiencing difficulties resulting from a gambling problem – including gamblers, partners and family members - across the UK.
Counselling can be face-to-face or online, and we offer both individual or group sessions.
Our specially trained and experienced counsellors can give you the safe, confidential space you need to work through the issues and situations connected to problem gambling in your life, and we will work with you to find the best methods of dealing with these situations going forward.
We have an integrative approach to counselling, which means we can help you explore both problem gambling behaviour as well as the thoughts and feelings which may motivate this behaviour. In order for counselling to have an impact for you, you will need to commit to regular sessions.
Our counsellors work within a broad range of therapeutic approaches, meaning that GamCare can provide counselling that is tailored to your needs.
Our service is confidential, accredited by the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and abides by their Ethical Framework for Good Practice in Counselling and Psychotherapy. Please note our service is not provided by the NHS.
