Yesterday I made one year free from gambling it’s been a long hard road but support from my wonderful wife and family plus GamCare and Breakeven I have this horrible disease under control, l know longer live in dread of the phone calls or letters dropping through the door and have that constant feeling of dread when I have gambled all my money , I now appreciate the things in life that’s I took for granted and no longer have that feel of dread and dishonesty, I never thought I could do it so if I can anyone else who is struggling can , just be honest to loved ones and if they love you that much they will help you believe me and also get help from the right people and don’t be ashamed to admit you have a problem and with the correct tools and help in place you can be beat this and start enjoying life again and not have despair and struggle, we are all in this together and are here for anyone with problems together we can beat this
