I have alot of respect for you Sharon. As you say, you don't visit the diaries so much, but you story preceeds you with such an honest account of realization, dedication and defiance.
Good morning Sharon. I hope you are happy and well.
Congratulations on passing the 2 year mark a few weeks ago. Your journey of recovery has been an inspiration to me on many occasions and is one of the reasons I have kept trying.
As you know I have relapsed on several occasions and my foolishness has caused me immense pain, torment and anguish. At times, I felt I couldn't cope with it any more but the good news is I am now feeling a lot better and truly believe that I have, finally, come to my senses. It is almost 2 months since I last gambled and gamble-free is the way I intend to stay.

Super to hear from you Stephen and thanks as always for your kind words. i can't say it's been easy but I have learnt alot about myself on this journey. I have tried to cut myself some slack and put the past behind me but obviously not forgetting the hole I dug myself into, financially and emotionally. Great o hear your back on the road to positivity and back here spreading motivation and encouragement.Take care S x

Congratulations are in order because in a few hours time you will be 800 days away from your last gamble.
I have great admiration and respect for all you have achieved and am also grateful for the support and encouragement you have always given me.
You took the addiction by the scruff of the neck and threw it out of your life. That takes a lot of courage, resilience and tenacity. You have shown compassion towards your gamcare friends and have always tried to remain positive. Last, but not least, you have kept your sense of humour which is very precious and is a part of who you are.
Keep blazing that trail my friend, you are a true inspiration.
