Pay day today... 23 days GF. First payday since I stopped. Reflecting back on the last pay day and my downward spiral.... Cringe.
Had my gambling counselling session today which highlighted how well I'm doing and that I need to try harder at self care as constantly feeling guilty but slowly recognising how important that is

I had my first GA meeting tonight. Feel so much better already.
Easier said than done but I would try not to feel guilty. Guilt is for things you have complete control of or where you've intended to hurt people. You're an ex gambler, accept that you didnt have control over it. Infact I would go further and say you should feel proud....for facing up to your problems and doing something about them ?
I've had my first payday as well after being gambling free for all of October. It's lovely BUT weird knowing I have money to spare.
