Hello to everyone,
My name is Patrick and i am 21 years old.I have a gambling problem since 2 years after a bad break-up and yesterday i did the most horrible thing.
I went to my mother's home (like i do on a daily basis) but this time was different,was salary day for her and i did the unspeakable thing and took her phone and used the internet Banking to transfer 200 euros to my account.After i lost them i transfered 300 euros and than 400 and so on till her account was empty 4.5k euros my biggest lost ever.
I cannot belive that i was able to do such a horrible thing to my hard working mother (she is a nurse at the hospital and in the last months due to the current situation,she kept telling me how hard is to work and this condition and many sad story's) and that's why i cannot belive what i did and how to fix is.
Since 4 months i was ok and haven't gambled but now i did something that i dont know how to fix.I am 21 years old with Epilepsy and skinny body,nobody wants to hire me and i have no idea what to do.My mother doesn't speak to me and i have food left for 2-3 day's.She said that i am not her child anymore.
Any advice ? I hope you would never be in my situation.

On reading your story I can understand that you are feeling bad about how you have involved your mother in your gambling and that she may be finding it difficult to support you at this time.
It sounds as though you have some issues that need addressing as soon as possible to make sure that you are safe and well.
You sound very low at the moment and so it may be a good idea to speak with your doctor so that they can offer you support with this.
If you do not have anyone else around you who can help you source food at this time, you should make contact with your local social services. They will be able to help and will have details of local food banks where you can get free food once they have checked that your circumstances.
