Not had a bet since July last year. Life for me is now much better. ?
1/ Debt paid off & no money worries.
2/ Moved home and happy where I am living.
3/ No urges to gamble. Thoughts occasionally pop into my mind but they soon move on.

Rachel the rookie raindrop was trembling with fear ? but smiles replaced the frowns when she dropped down on the pier ?
Laughing watery friends all landed in a huddle and Rachel got to splash about and swim in a little puddle
But Rachel's joy it was short lived - perhaps it was her fate - to be a dainty raindrop and than evaporate
No matter her the ups & downs - refusing to be cowed - she bravely ventured forth and landed on a cloud

Why do big name sporting celebrities (who have already amassed a fortune) choose to star in commercials for gambling companies?
They would be doing their doting fans a big service if they used some of their wealth to alleviate the suffering of innocent children who are forced to live in poverty due to their parents addiction.
They would maybe gain more respect if they appeared in adverts warning of the dangers associated with gambling.

Yesterday heralded the Autumn Equinox so both hemispheres got equal amounts of sun ?☀️?
The planet was well balanced and the Sun God gave a cheer as he drove his ball of fire to the southern hemisphere.
Now that might bring a frown to us in a northern land but Chilians Aussies & Africans all think its rather grand
For they will swim in waters blue and play on golden sand whilst we in Hull will shiver and sing with a snowball in each hand.

Cold and windy by the river 'neath the stars & moon - blowing off the cobwebs from this gamble-free buffoon.
Foolishly I played life's game but none of it made sense and sadly here I stand alone with a somewhat shaky defence
