My first relapse since joining the site. Stings even more somehow now I know how many days I managed to beat it. Trying my best to stay positive about it and understand a few trips doesn't stop the journey. Maybe next time I can add a few more weeks onto my 36 day streak! It could've been worse and I will be be better.

Fella live and learn

the best advice I ever had

there is a triangle
Tine-money-location

break the triangle and the next punt is impossible, the result is a win for the compulsive gambler.

put the loss to bed, whatever the cost financially it’s gone, look at it as a subscription fee for recovery, I relapsed four times in the past eight years, every one a lesson

welcome back to the gamble free bus

just for today

Duncs

Well said duncs

Sense as usually listen to what's in front off you my friend if you want to stay away just keep doing what your doing 9we all make mistakes so by putting as much block's in as possible so if you do have a relapse hopefully not but if you do with blocks in place you won't be able to risk vast amounts off money.

I may not be, who I ought to be.

I know I am not all I want to be.

I’ve come a long way, from who I used to be.

And I will not give up on becoming, what I know I can be!

I found this today on pintrest, thought it may resonate with you! If you can take a positive from your relapse maybe it could be you have recognised it and are still fighting to be free!
Im sure you’ll get to where you want to be, one step at a time x

It's a lovely message and makes so much sense, all we got to do is keep each other going as one thing we all have in common is this terrible addiction that's brought us all together trying to help each other sometimes I feel proud not that I've gambled but how supportive strangers can be.
