Gave my electricity rebate to a gambling machine in the betting shop along with a bit more.
From now on I am going to behave in a more humble manner and ask my angels to keep an eye on me and keep me grounded.

Stephen, sorry to hear you've had this experience. I wish you would keep one diary mate. Spare a thought for those of us following your journey. I don't mind if you slip. I just wanna follow your journey and be your recovery buddy.
I think you should self exclude from this place with the machines in. I don't go to the bookies but maybe when you have some pennies, buy the manager some doughnuts or cookies and then fill in the form. They won't forget your face if you buy them treats. Then you won't have to go through this again.

Thankyou Drama for your advice and encouragement. I always change my name and start a new diary when I have gambled. It makes me feel better.
The betting shops are a problem for me because in the past I have either travelled to other places where I was not self excluded or put a hat on and gone in places where I was. (I am self excluded from over 40 betting shops).
Anyway, I can live with it. My bills are paid and I don't need much to live on.

I've just had a breakfast of porridge with fruit so that now my tummy is full

I'm pleased to hear you made it through the weekend gamble free. I did too! I was triggered walking on the seafront passed the arcades. I heard the Rainbow Riches music. It's an online game that I played alot when I was gambling and I felt all the emotions associated with it. I was with Hubby and our friends so there was never a question of me going in so i'm grateful for that.
I wanna keep on with my gamble free journey.

Thankyou for visiting my diary DramaLlama. I have just been reading about your weekend in Whitby and became quite engrossed. You certainly have a talent for writing and if you ever write your autobiography or a little story, I will definitely be at your book-signing. Just had a tooth extracted so not a happy chap

Some people don't make it to their 69th birthday but if I can make it through to midnight than I will be there.
Tomorrow I will also be celebrating 7 days Gamble Free.
