I might be 70 but I can still shed a tear and that is exactly what I did upon seeing the posts from gamcare friends wishing me a happy birthday.

I threw some oats & mealworm in the old dock and the ducks loved it. They were quacking a lot so I assume they were singing Happy Birthday and some gulls joined in and seemed to be squawking Happy Birthday ???.
Have had a good day and met up with a few friends. Didn't know them before today but we got chatting and had a few laughs so I suppose that makes them friends ???.
Now back home and about to enjoy a tasty meal with a Tesco Chocolate Cheesecake to follow. I am not a greedy person so will cut the cake into slices so there are pieces for gamcare friends. Obviously, gamcare friends will only be here in heart and mind so I will eat their pieces for them ???.
So I will spend the rest of the evening looking back on the last seventy years and contemplate my gamble free future
When I celebrate my eightieth birthday I will be well over 10 years gamble free so that should be a humdinger.
