How did the dentist go? I hate the dentist lol it’s like the worst feeling ever! Ah that’s nice you made a new friend, Atleast it’s keeping you occupied from all the gambling. Hope you have a nice time with your other friend and your family 🙂

Nearly day 131!

Hello Ash
Yes 17 mins it will be.. And I log in my bank and transfer £1.
I use to be petrified, as in had to have valium. But I paid to be hypnotised at the dentist and now I have any treatment done without valium. There's a technique. Next time you go to a dentist I'll explain it. I also have a gorgeous handsome very kind dentist, he's the best dentist I've ever been to. So...it helps to be at ease with a dentist.

Tomorrow us weigh in. And I see my friend and her 3 yr old. Where I get to play lego and protest I'm to old to be sitting on the floor with him. Sure he thinks I am 3 year old to. Lol.
Have a fun day tomorrow.
Good night..
Bella xx

Hi Bella, hope you’re well, sorry I haven’t been around just been trying to sort out stuff in my life. I read a glimpse of your diary and saw you lost someone, sorry to hear, let me know if you need anything.

I’ve been keeping myself busy with the business and spending time with friends. We’re on day 140 now! Nearly to the next milestone of 150. I think this is going to be the toughest week for me not to gamble as the Cheltenham festival starts which is the festival that makes me excited the most in horse racing. I’ve booked a trip to marmaris in July with my friends and got a bonus at work so will be paying off my car insurance and holiday with that. Luckily it’s after the Cheltenham festival so I can’t do something daft and blow it all on there. Have a nice weekend guys and stay gambling free

Where have you been Ash its been 2 weeks? Maybe while this festival is on you should log in daily? Here that is.

I was thinking about you other day, you need to put in the gambling blocks. Even one little bet will set you back to the begining. Have you joined Gamstop and the bookies your Dad goes in you need to ban yourself.

Holiday sounds amazing, glad your doing good. Don't do it Ash, you will disappoint yourself so badly, it won't be worth it.

Go read the diaries, ones who have come back again and again. Its soul destroying.

Thank you its upsetting about my friend. I'm waiting to hear what charity to donate to.

Have a good Sunday.
Chat soon.
Bella xx

150th next.. Shaun today is on 182th that's 6 months GF!

Hi Bella, thanks for your kind words. Just been trying to sort myself out after the operation and getting back in to my normal life gradually. Been spending a lot more time with my family also and done a lot with my business. I’ve signed up to Gamstop a while ago before I started the diary which helped and also have signed up to sense which blocks you from all casinos in the UK. I find it hard to ban myself from the bookie my dad goes in but I don’t take any money with me to gamble nor have the thought of doing it. I just talk to people there and pretty much go to the pub straight after so not in there the whole time. So happy for you and Shaun for keeping it up, you guys are great individuals and I can honestly say without your help I wouldn’t have come so far! I’m looking forward to all the travelling I have to do this year and getting my finances on track. Met a nice girl last Friday, opened up to her on my first date about my gambling habit as we had such a deep connection with each other and she was so understanding, never thought I would meet someone like her. Met my friends after the date and saw how happy I was as I feel I could be a better person with her in my life. We’re planning the second date soon, don’t want to get ahead of myself but she’s the only girl I’ve met to really not think about my ex which could be potential! I went out after with my friends and had a great night out got home at like 6am and ended up in Pizza Hut the next day for a recovery hangover meal lol been just enjoying life.

Going back to gambling, Cheltenham festival starts tomorrow the time I feel like I could break. I have all the stoppers online and won’t set foot in the bookies all week. I’m keeping myself occupied.

Hope things are good in your life Bella! Have a good evening!

Hello Ash.
Very excited for you twinnie.. And how wonderful you met a girl when you wasn't expecting to. She sounds perfect for you. Give yourself a chance.
How's the business going on?
Thank you for your explanation, I don't need to worry about you anymore eh? You got this.

Starting my healthy diet again and taking it seriously, hit the gym past 2 days, feeling the pain now but my other friend who’s put on a lot of weight is going to start training with me also so going to help him out as well. How’s life going in your world?

Have a nice evening!

148 days in gambling free, overcame the Cheltenham festival last week and didn’t place a bet! So proud of myself as it was tough going but stuck to it. Still off work until Thursday. Have been going out with friends and hitting the gym. Starting to rejiggle my finances as well so I’m paying out less monthly. Paid off my car insurance in one go last week and saved £300 over the year which I can put towards a nice holiday. Need to cut down my drinking now as it’s effecting my gym and goals. Been making some business improvements also, was a bit upset I didn’t get my promotion last week but didn’t care as once my business starts to generate more money I’ll be making that promotion money back without the hassle and doing something I enjoy. It’s nearly day 150 and 5 months nearly being free. It’s crazy how I have lasted so long but can’t wait to do the whole year!

Day 156 feel great, off work for another 2 weeks as eyes not feeling great and sore when trying to work. Went out over the weekend with friends and had a good time. Looking forward to my holiday in July. Starting to hit the gym more as I have a goal now of trying to get the best body by then. Have no intentions of gambling and slowly my bank account is rising. Keep strong guys it’ll be worth it!

Day 167 gambling free, been a very tough day today not gambling on the grand national for the first time but got through it! Went out partying last night with a friend and recovering today. Started going back to work and making a lot of progress with my business in terms of putting all the products on the website. Not getting as many orders as of yet but once everything is done I’ll be working on all the Facebook advertising and putting money in to it. Started training in the gym again and my personal trainer is back so I can get ready for my holiday in 3 months! I visited a therapist lately for my depression mostly around my ex and have taken steps forward to get back to the confident individual I am and cutting everything bad out of my life. I’ve been putting a list of things together of what o like about myself and what I can provide. Gambling would definitely effect that list, keep strong guys I’m happy my addiction is slowly going and I’m near the 6 month mark!
