Can a CG ever be forgiven......I do find it difficult to forgive myself to be honest.

As to anyone else forgiving me, they need to or your relationships can't move on. Many of us have been deceitful and much much worse and it takes a long time to earn someones trust again so don't expect it overnight. Its of our own making so we have to be patient.

Good luck

Yeah interesting title but I dont see this part of it as serving the sentence.

The trap was feeding the addiction. Recovery should be and is a freeing experience. Yes there is cold turkey to be done but the aim is setting the mind free from it....gamble free!

I dont seek forgiveness and thats a key point. I think forgiveness can come from others when they begin to realise that we couldnt help ourselves and its a drug addiction above all else.

I think I seek some love and understanding. Whether people find it in their hearts to forgive is up to them...I certainly dont want them complacent and I tell them that...not that they would be now after all we have talked about

I didnt do it with an evil laugh to hurt my loved ones. If anything my mind was in a delusional zone that gambling would help us all...well you know...I was hardly thinking it through with a clear mind was I

Best wishes
