I used to love getting involved in challenges on gamcare, it would help keep me focused and completing them alongside others gave that community spirit to keep me going and brings part of what I imagine makes GA successful, the accountability of checking in weekly and sharing your highs and lows and knowing others are there for you.
So I'd like to start a 1 month/31 day challenge and offer you all to join me. I sincerely hope it will help us all, to keep us focused and gamble free for an entire month - and beyond!!
I think we should start Day 1 Tuesday 23rd August and Day 31 will be Thursday 22nd September.
If you want to join reply below and I'll add you to the list. This is open to all, whether your on day 1 or day 1000.
I suggest everyone checks in once a week (more if you'd like to). I'll do a little recap every Monday with who's checked in the previous week and how far we are in to the challenge etc. The last check in day will be Friday 23rd September to celebrate 31 gamble free days completed.
Anyone can join the challenge at any point, as even starting late, completing the challenge will be an achievement to be proud of whenever you start. I hope you'll come along this part of the journey with me and I wish you all the best.

Awesome that your joining the challenge. I say challenge as it is a challenge because addiction is just that - addictive! But it's a challenge we can topple and smash through, It shouldn't even really be a challenge because we know why we're here, we want to stop gambling, we know that's the right decision. Add on to that, that (speaking for myself and probably everyone else on the site) I don't even like gambling, I certainly don't like how I feel and act when gambling so we're not really giving up anything!
Just to say the second post I did, for some reason I can't edit it so I couldn't add your names but I could edit the first post so if you see the bottom of that post I'll put all our names on there.

Kyle, cherry and Poblwc welcome. I'm so glad that we have so many stepping and ready for the 1 month challenge.
Got to air some frustration now - the website is rubbish!! - and by that I mean the actual functionality of it. I now can not edit my top post either. No idea why, I'm waiting on an email from gamcare so hopefully I'll update the names soon.
