350 days GF but never give the 1 year idea a thought. ( K2 ONE DAY AT A TIME & ALWAYS GUARD AGAINST COMPLACENCY ) how true. Before i came here i swore many times i would stop & amazingly i believed it at the time i could do it alone, how misguided i was. The times i tried alone & what did i achieve ?. Well i've got a trophy cabinet overflowing with SILVER medals & not 1 gold, always the nearly man who excluded himself from the exchanges but always found a bookmaker who wouldn't allow me to lay but was more than happy to let me bet.
350 days, a mixed bag of emotions, flashbacks, realisation of what i've lost & what i could have achieved in life. Ups ,downs , mood swings and a lot of self hatred so when i look back at the last 11 months how would i sum it all up ?. Well nowhere near as bad as the 350 days that came before. Nobody told me it would be easy & it has't been, so if anyone else is struggling there ain't no easy way or short cuts in winning GOLD.
Ride the wave, stick at it & stay strong no matter how hard.
