Hello to all... I'm Paul..age 37. Ive been a compulsive gambler since I was 16, lost my house in early 20s and had to go bankrupt. I noe have a fiance of 11 yrs and 2 boys 8 and 3. I'm literally on the last chance before I lose my family and my partner leaves me. Something that will hurt me more than anything materialistic. I NEED to stop. I'm here to chat to people about all topics and can be a good listener so if you need help we could help each other as WE ALL CAN DO THIS. Take care everyone keep safe and give free x

Welcome

Of course, you can. But everything needs to be done before not after. After means loss. Before means hope. The last couple of days I have read here more than once how people lose everything. Then they get angry that they can not turn back time and have it all undone. We CAN NOT turn back time. We can only change actions to our advantage. Do not gamble away your family. Stop now. 90% do it without help. If you are in the 10% get that help. Stop now. Change your actions to positive ones and you will see a positive future.

BEST

C

Well done Paul!

baby steps at first, one day at time.

I’m on day 5 didn’t even look at betting this weekend for the first time in many a year, I’ve blocked all internet sites and activated the “stop gambling transactions on my bank card”.

Il also be getting passport photos done in the next week or so, so when the bookies open il be straight in and banning myself from all local bookmakers to, no half measures this time, it’s all or nothing it’s only way for me to stop this destruction in my life.

I’m only just starting my journey but getting this issue out in the open has a real liberating feeling. The fog is started to go already.

You stay strong and your spot on”WE can do this together”.x
