Hi there,

I stopped gambling for ages and yesterday I made a stupid mistake and put a large amount of money on a tennis player to win who is usually guaranteed to win and I lost ALL of my money. I can't pay my bills which were due like 2 days ago and I don't know what to do.

I'm sick with worry all I've done is cry for like 24 hours straight and worry about how I can pay my bills. I'm so scared and I'm such an idiot.

I'm just lost at the minute and I feel like I have no options at all.

Just want you to know I read your post and my heart goes out to you. I dont have any advice really..can you put the bills on a credit card (interest free) and pay it back over time? Could you borrow from a friend/family? I hope you can give up gambling..it is evil and ruins lives. Hugs, Amy

I myself got into a lot of debt through gambling I have so far been over 3 weeks gambling free. Speak to the people you owe and try and come to an agreement maybe use someone like Payplan to help clear your debts? that is what I did. It will take time but be honest with yourself and start afresh and take each day as it comes. Also be honest to your love ones, support is vital.
