Good morning all, 

I lept out of bed early this morning in a coffee shop before work to chill and have breakfast. 

I really can't afford to be buying breakfast but better than gambling.

Feeling good today the start of a new week. 

Shocked to see the bookies open yesterday on a Sunday but these new laws were passed. I actually considered going in yesterday but I am banned from all four bookies in my town so get in. 

So here goes another week without gambling in my life. Best wishes all have a nice day.

I feel just okay tonight. It takes a while for me to get my head around what I did and where I now am after my last serious bout of major self-destruction. Mind you tomorrow I get paid and the hard work starts.

If my memory serve me right, you & your partner fostered children.  Wow so much goodness in your hearts. If you could only see it you're inches away from being the most compassionate, caring human being ever. If you relapse I'll think of you as the same person anyway.

To this day I believe there's hope for you. Every day is a struggle fighting addiction. Please commit to recovery, I know that you're self esteem has taken a hit & it's difficult to pick yourself up but we can lay down & die ( the easy option ) or fight back & get up to continue the battle.

Thankyou Slow Learner for your entry. A great motivational speech it certainly lifted my spirits this morning.

We are still fostering at weekends and enjoying it. One of the most rewarding things we have done. My wife manages the finances and I only have a small amount per month so it works well.

I agree slowlearner you either lie down or get up fighting. I will be jumping up on my lily pad chest out fighting each day and making the most of life. Join Toad on this journey and follow me to a new happier place. You can all do it so believe in yourself!

Good morning Diary, 

I hope you are all doing well today. I haven't posted in a wee bit. I don''t think I will post daily if things are going okay and they are going great with gambling not on my mind lately.

I am due to go on a weekend break next week so looking forward to a break from work and the rat ? race and the company of Mrs Toad lastly but not least ☺ 

I am short of things to say today it's not like me but what I can say is that life is much better without gambling.

I wish everyone a lovely Sunday and all the happiness because life is better when we are positive, happy and smiling.

Good morning all. I am just back from a mini break and feeling exhausted. Had a great time just need a break to recover!!

The days are flying by and I am feeling the wind on my sails as I navigate these rough waters. The further I sail up this pond the calmer the waters are becoming ?

But wait Toad don't get complacent as we all know what happens with complacency. The waters are still rough and casino predators lurk behind bushes. Sail on ⛵ ? toad sail on. Join me on my journey of discoverance.
