Folks I wasn’t sure where to post this and many of you I’m sure are aware of this but even if this helps one poster I will be glad.

Most on here will have taken out bad loans and pay day loans for many years, I did , now i was introduced to a site called debt camel that has template letters you send off to all the previous companies you had these loans with, Wonga being a current classic example.

Now it not guaranteed but some will give you a payout of the interest you paid them back if you launch an affordability complaint.

I got £280 from Wonga and lately £268 from Myjar with quite a few others pending.

please try it, patience is needed and not all will uphold the complaint and take it to the FOS but some of you on here could be owed hundreds if not thousands of pounds .

hope this helps and sorry if discussed before , feel free to move delete admin if this isn’t allowed but many are in debt and this is a chance to get money back.

Hi,

I agree, sometimes it works! I didn’t use the template but I sent similar complaints to all my past and current creditors. One creditor has got back to me and agreed to refund all the interest and charges.

Give it a go.

Yes I firmly believe there is negligence in place and I think its a scandal set to blow big time.

I believe some firms see this clearly and dont want the ramifications of a proper complaint.

Any loan company that has been fueling gambling activity is in my considered opinion, grossly negligent.

It doesnt ultimately help the gambler who sees it as a way to "get out" of a extinction gambling session...a fix which isnt really a fix like another drink to cure the shakes.

To ease the pain a gambler will suppress the fact that interest charges are coming and it cant really be paid back easily anyway....it hits a limit when even the loans are not available anymore with massive debts.

So yes I would advise anybody in that situation to word it strongly and give it a go

Best wishes
