Gambling's been one of my painful problems for the last four years and I came to a conclusion that I have to stop it right away, but this time permanently. I did try a bunch of things to remove that disgusting problem out of my living but as a pure addict there was no way I could have it removed thoroughly. So, it was like a bit of cycle for myself and I always ended up gambling when I got myself some balance. By the way I am only 21 and this issue is a thing for me since I was 17. I lost around 50K in my country's currency and it is a tremendous amount. I am also a university student and working without off-days as a recepcionist in a hotel. Today I did consulted a professional and I will be having weekly sessions with her, hopefully I will tear this bloody addiction apart from my soul and be able to breathe once again.
I did join this forum to express my own feelings and also show my progress to others to inspire or get inspired. I also did have the urge to write something about all this and I think there will be more coming in the following days and I will be updating this topic with them too. Wish me luck on my phase of recovery people!
Well done for contacting somebody for help. It can be a lonley road if you try to do it yourself.
