Been on here now a few days and the help and support is superb. Reading the forums just makes you realise that your not alone, it's not only you who can be so weak, it's a epidemic.....the reason for this post is to ask if other people feel the same.....opening up to my wife and trying to make her understand and I had a thought.... i wouldn't go into a betting shop and put the bets on I have had if I had to hand the money over(notes) over the counter but its so easy online...it feels like it's just a number, it's not cash, just a number......the realisation only hits when that number as gone and you realise "that number" as gone from your bank account/overdraft/ savings.

It'd getting easier to block yourself online now. Gamban is a start. Gamblock is even better but pricey. Yes I agree with you, playing online is lethal.

Hi stuart....I've got all the blocks in place...I'm going to beat this.....I've only put the post on as although it's really hard and raw, im talking through things with my wife and trying to explain to her my feelings and how easy it is to have problems. Being on here and talking about things to me is an essential part of my recovery
