Survey - Proposal to Evaluate GamCare Treatment Services

12th July 2018

Researchers at the Kings College London Social Care Workforce Research Unit are working with GamCare to develop a research proposal which explores views and experiences of GamCare’s treatment services.

We would be grateful if those who have already received treatment support from GamCare could contribute to the following brief survey to let us know their thoughts.

This survey is part of a larger proposed study to evaluate the experiences of those accessing GamCare support for problems associated with gambling. The research team intend to analyse anonymous and unidentifiable data collected from callers to the National Gambling HelpLine and clients across the GamCare treatment network, to find out more about who is using our services and why, and to identify new ways we can continue to improve our services.

The following survey includes six quick questions and will take 5 – 10 minutes to complete. The study has ethical approval from Kings College London (Ref: MRA- 17/18- 7558). All the information you provide is used for research purposes only, and will be kept strictly confidential and treated in accordance with UK and EU Data Protection law.

If you provide any contact details, these will only be used by the research team to provide you with more information about this project.

To complete the survey visit

Responses to this initial survey must be submitted by Monday 16th July. Thank you for your time.
