Issues with website logins - Updated

We apologise if you are currently having issues when logging into the GamCare website. We have asked our web development team to look into this as a matter of urgency.

Friday 5th October

We apologise that it has taken so long to fix the issue concerning users unable to log into our website to access the Forum and Chatroom. We have escalated a serious complaint with our website developers, and we have tested a fix for the problem which should be deployed to our live website today.

As a result of this issue, users will need to check the box to enable their chatroom account once more when they log back into the site. This is accessed via your account homepage.

Users accessing the Forum only will not be affected.

Please email [email protected] if you encounter any further problems and we will investigate as a matter of urgency.

Once again, we are very sorry that our service has not met the standards you would expect from us in recent weeks. We will be moving to re-procure our website contract as soon as possible to make sure that this is not the case in the future. We thank you for your patience and understanding.


Monday 1st October

We are very sorry to hear that many users are still unable to access the GamCare website, despite our web developers reassuring us that this issue had been rectified.

As GamCare has a small team, we rely on external support to maintain our website database and server. We sincerely apologise that this issue is taking longer to fix than we first thought. The team have assured us that they are investigating thoroughly and as quickly as possible to get everything back to normal

Please be reassured that every member of our team is fully invested in supporting your recovery through every channel we offer, and we will be retendering for the contract for our main website in the very near future to ensure we can continue to deliver the excellent services you expect from us.

Once again, we apologise that so many users have been affected by this issue, and we have asked the developers to work as quickly as they can.

Our HelpLine and NetLine are still available for anyone who is currently unable to access the site and needs support in the meantime.


Wednesday 26th September

Our site database should now be back up and running as usual. If anyone experiences further issues logging into our website please contact [email protected]. Thank you for your patience.

Our developers have alerted us that to fix this issue they need to make an amendment to our website server, which will mean the site will be unresponsive for anyone attempting to login or complete a form for just a few minutes this afternoon.

We apologise for any inconvenience this causes and will update fully when this fix has been implemented.

While this issue does not appear to affect all our users, we are working to fix this as soon as possible.

We will provide an update as soon as we can.

In the meantime, please try clearing your browser cache. If this does not help, you could also try to login via another browser.
