Help to Shape the New Online Self-Exclusion Scheme

6th January 2017

Give your views on the new national self-exclusion scheme being introduced by online gambling operators in the UK.

A national self-exclusion scheme is being introduced by online gambling operators in the UK, alongside the option to self-exclude with a single operator. This will mean that anyone in Great Britain and Northern Ireland who wishes to exclude from all online gambling accounts will only need to complete the self-exclusion process once, as operators will be centrally linked to the scheme.

The project is being delivered by the trade body, the Remote Gambling Association, and is a condition of license as regulated by the UK Gambling Commission.

The project is currently in design and the project team are looking for first hand input from those who have self-excluded online or are considering self-excluding. If you would like to help to shape the scheme, please take two minutes to complete a short survey on the proposed scheme and the features of self-exclusion. Take the survey here.
