GamCare Recruitment Privacy Notice

The Charity is committed to process your personal data, fairly, lawfully and transparently. We will only use your data for specified, explicit and legitimate purposes in line with the General Data Protection Regulation 2018. We will not hold your details any longer than legally required.

What information do we hold about you?

We require following details about you in order to assess your suitability for the role and to manage the recruitment process.

  • Your name
  • Your contact details
  • Your Education and work history
  • Any other work-related information you provide, for example, education or training certificate
  • Your Referee details
  • Your rights to work in UK

How do we use the information?

We use the information you have provided in the application form to assess you for the suitability for the role. We will only collect your references, your education and training certificates, verification document for your right to work in UK and DBS related supporting documents only if you have been offered the position.

How we hold the information and who do we share your information with?

We hold your information within GamCare, electronically including emails and hard copies to manage the recruitment process. Your data will be shared with only those within the organisation who are responsible for processing your data and those personnel involved in the short-listing and interviewing process. We will not be holding your data no longer than legally required and in accordance with our record management policy. Your data will not be shared outside EEA as our recruitment process is managed internally.

Your rights

You currently have the right at any time to ask for a copy of the information about you by writing to [email protected]

Retention of your data

Your data will be retained for no longer than is necessary and in accordance with our Record Management policy.

Concerns

If you have a concern about the way we are collecting or using your personal data, you should raise your concern with us in the first instance or directly to Information Commissioners Office at https:\\ico.org.uk\concerns.
