Hi all, I think I'm roughly 25 days free of gambling (best amount so far) so I'm very happy.

what I'm more proud of is that one of my self exclusions ran out today (one I did way before my latest gambling give up) and I simply went onto the site and blocked my self for a bit longer.

I felt a twinge in my stomach but did it. And now I'm very proud I didn't gamble with an open chance.

best, red

@bigred could you go onto Gamstop and exclude yourself from all sites without the risk of going back onto actual gambling sites? Do you know about Gamstop?

Chris.

Hi bigred

Register with Gamstop. Choose 5 years exclusion from all UK casino sites. It's the best option if you're serious about tackling your gambling addiction.

Trust me you won't find it so simple to log into a gambling website and set another 30 day time out when your impulse to gamble is so fragile.

Good luck

Well done Bigred, 1 day at a time.

I can recommend starling bank account too.... gambling block on card- really helped me in my most desperate times after i had spent hours in the middle of the night searching for sites i hadn't blocked... we all know how crafty we can be!

Im trying hypnotherapy videos at moment off youtube and also downloaded audio book... Allen Carr stop gambling (use either each day) and i have definately feel positive changes mentally and I feel that little bit stronger at the moment.  But, I have been at this long enough to know it really is a day at a time.

Good Luck x
