I am feeling really cheesed off and Meh... I don't watch a great deal of "live TV" but sat down to watch a new program starting tonight I was so excited for it
As soon as I realised it was sponsered by a gambling advert it made me not want to watch the programme I sat through it but tried not to pay attention to the adverts but what annoyed me was the way the advert draws you in my getting little creatures to so silly things so you look. I then got really irritated with my partner ( not his fault) I explained how I was feeling and he just gave me a big hug.
I hate going to bed because the gambling gets in my subconscious and the nightmares rear their heads

All these adverts show gambling as a fun social activity. Its not balanced advertising and I dont know how it gets by the ASA.
Its all like a James bond Casino scene or Girls out in a Limousine. Fun Fun Fun all the way down!
The reality of gambling is people getting addicted...a dishelleved man in a flat with no electricity on (me)...the anger and abject misery of loss. The guy begging his workmates for a fiver every monday morning and getting sacked as a gross nuisance. The woman with her head in her hands on a train platform

Very true. It’s laughable the way they’re allowed to promote gambling in adverts. All fun and games and smiles.... if only!!

It is wrong. I think we will (and hopefully) one day gambling adverts will be a thing of the past. I bet it will be one of the things that’s like ‘really?!! That used to be allowed?!’
