Hi Donna thanks so much for your kind words and encouragement! I was also addicted to online slots, my whole world revolved around them to be honest. 5 years of chasing, being skint, winning/losing, covering my tracks etc. Now I still am coping with the consequences but have stopped beating myself up and am only looking forward. You are bossing it and will get there, but be kind to yourself. Take care S x

Glad you felt better this morning. Hope your day went ok.

Yes, my nan recently moved into a care home so I’ve tried to see as much of her as possible whilst I’ve been off. It certainly puts things into perspective.

Quiet day for me today. I nipped into work to sort a few things out for next week. Then came home and watched Friends all afternoon. A lazy day...x

Hi Sharon

Thanks so much for the confidence it means a lot 🙂

It's scary really when you realise how much work and effort has to go into recovery considering it was probably just a short time to get hooked! Not just financially either, there hasn't been a day so far that I haven't thought about gambling...wonder if I will ever get one ever!

You are doing amazingly and I look forward to getting to where you are 🙂

I’ve not watched them for years but I’ve seen every episode about 10 times each haha!

Sounds like you’ve got a nice night planned. A much more comforting and peaceful way to spend an evening rather than stressing ourselves silly, losing pound after pound through gambling.

It guarantees a way of being able to proudly hold your head up high as you tuck yourself into bed at night 🙂 x

Hope you’re feeling more like yourself soon.

Migraines are a real bummer! I used to get them regularly in my teens but thankfully I’ve not had one for years...(*touches wood).

Have a nice day 🙂 x

I read your post Donna. You are so strong and determined... I admire your fight. I believe you can do this. 72 days is an amazing achievement. Youve inspired me to keep going anyway.

Thanks so much for posting on my diary when I really needed someone. Thank you.

I’m good thank you 🙂 not much planned before work next week. Going to the football this afternoon and then I might go for a run later this evening. Haven’t been for a few days so need to keep it up. Then I might treat myself to a glass of wine tonight if I’ve been good haha!..x

Ohh sounds good! Exercise is a great all rounder, keeps you distracted and is good for you! I'm back on the diet when the kids are back in school 🙂

Enjoy and keep it gf 🙂 x
