Hi Everyone,

I’m back again and have today decided to really try and stop this horrible addiction  once and for all. I don’t even know why I gamble anymore to be honest as a win doesn’t make me happy and a loss only makes me more and more depressed.

I signed up to GAMSTOP a while back now which has eliminated the online activity, however I still go to the shop as I can’t let my losses go. It’s all I think about from the moment I get up to the second I go to bed. What If’s and why was I so stupid?

Anyway I do realise that I will never win that money back, so from today onwards I am going to make a real effort to stop. Fingers crossed I can do it, as I am only really ever happy once I’ve stopped and don’t waste my day watching my bets crash and burn.

My family do not deserve to be treated this way, even though I hide it all from them the best I can.

Onwards and upwards.

Hi Seannria,

Thank you for your reply, I completely agree. A day not losing money is definitely money I can start to save and pay off gambling debts.

Only day 1 but this has to be the day that I turn my life around for the future of my family.

Good for you nono, I wish you all the best in your battle against this disease.
Unfortunately I relapsed again because my wife told me she was struggling for money. That just made me feel guilty because I get paid enough that she shouldn’t even have to work. Instead most of my wages go in gambling debts and other bills which doesn’t leave much after. It’s all my fault this situation and can’t seem to let it go.
