We are so sorry to hear your news Drama. I would like to reiterate what the other Forum members are saying and that is how amazingly well you have been doing. You are a real credit and it's not surprising to hear how well loved, respected and admired you are by other members.  There are few words that can be said at such a difficult time for you but I really want you to know that we are here to support you 24/7, so if you do need to talk please do pick up the phone or use the NetLine if that's easier for you at this time. Do try to be kind to yourself and take some of the love you give to others for you.

Evening this time drama. Today's sped by today with thoughts of your you. I still don't know what to say but want you to know if I can offer comfort or support in any way here I am.

You have always been so welcoming to so many and such a novelist with your diaries. Bought a smile to so many no wonder such an accolade of warmth and love to you.

Day 270. 

I've made my choices about the funeral. I just have to sort out the Eulogy. I dunno how to condense nearly 25 years into a couple pages but I've been writing notes when memories come up and it's actually a tonic cos it helps to remember the good and the things that make you laugh. 

I have been very messy since Thursday. Tonight I have not been. I hope that can be an end of doing that. 

That's about all I wanna diary right now.

It wasn't everyone. It was one voice in a multitude of caring voices and I chose to listen to it. I honestly believed that's what everyone was thinking and just paying lip service to condolences but I'm over that stinking thinking now. 

Sort of over it. 

Someone came to my house today who is most definitely trying to get his feet under my table and I sent him off with a stern word. I explicitly said I didn't want him to come today and he ignored me. It's time people heard my voice. If they choose to ignore it, they are NOT welcome. 

I am a strong woman. 

I will get through this time. 

Once the funeral is over and done with, I will not allow some of the people that are his friends and absolutely not my kind of person any part of sharing my time. I won't be mean and not let them grieve or do what they need to to heal. But after the funeral, that's it and for now, I say a HARD NO to coming into my home.

I'm glad to read that you're managing that "stinking thinking", it can be a hard beast to tame.
