Thankyou!

23 days is a great start, the early days are hard but take it one day at a time, get excluded from everything and get all the support you can :))

Been struggling up to now, I’m hoping it’s going to get easier in time, best thing I did was registering for Gamcare & Gamstop it really helps a lot.  ?

30 days in myself after a short relapse. Time to reset and refocus and count those days again -  one day at a time

Each day without a bet is a win but without the risks we used to thrive on

Well done so far

Yeah I’m doing good thank you!

I must admit I don’t think I struggle anywhere near how I used to in the beginning. I don’t know if you ever read it but Allen Carr’s book really changed how I perceive gambling and completely changed my mindset early on which I think helped me massively.

That's great to hear! I get frustrated because at this stage I hoped I wouldn't be still finding things a struggle, of course it's not nearly as bad, like you say but I'm still having those days where I have to put up a strong fight. Maybe because I'm struggling financially and that little demon is always sat there!

Yes I read the Allen Carr book early on, I found it really helped a lot and I recommended it on here a fair few times!

We can do this!!!!

Hi Jay,

We all relapse at some point it's how you deal with it that matters, as long as you have the determination you will keep getting back on the horse and keep fighting! It's not easy by any stretch and I do still struggle but as each day gamble free passes the strength to keep adding to those days keeps growing.

You can do it!

Yes it really does help! If I hadnt of had myself excluded I dread to think where I would be right now. I am more than aware that the struggle will always be there but I can definitely say it gets easier.

Take care.
