Hello Lively ? it is a beautiful sunny day but alas, I imagine you are at the table tending to your students educational needs ? ?✒.

Just been reading an article in Sky News about the difficulties schoolchildren will have preparing for future exams and keeping up with their education. It must be a big worry for everyone working in education along with children and parents.

You have been working long hours recently to cope with your workload and I have the greatest respect for your responsible attitude and dedication. It must be extremely difficult for you to help and support your students and work colleagues from a distance.

Respect from your friend Stephen x x x

Hello Lively ? hope you are having a good day.

Someone asked how many days I am into my journey of recovery so I checked and discovered that on Monday 1st June I will be in the century club and i do believe that my wonderful friend Lively will also be arriving their next weekend ?

I feel very confident that my time has come to be finally rid of that awful addiction which has caused me so much misery, heartache and shame. You have played a massive part in keeping me on the straight and narrow and for that I will forever be greatful.

Wishing you a super duper weekend

Thank you Stephen and Scotty as always for being there and showing support. It means a lot. I have just visited both your diaries rather than leaving a message on here. I hope you both have a lovely weekend!

Onto Day 93...

Third payday has been and gone, all bills paid and paid my daughter the last bit I owed with a good sum left in the bank, despite me getting a little overexcited and doing some online shopping. I bought my daughter some bits, one item she really loved and I am feeling really, really happy, although a little bit tired. So many positive things I can think of since stopping gambling and excited to get to 100 day very soon. Even though I’m working stupidly long hours at work until the early hours of the morning, it’s not dampened my mood. Now I am working these long hours because I love my job, I’m a perfectionist and most importantly, I can see that my hard work isn’t being poured into a slot machine every month but into building a happier, better future for both me and my daughter. I still have had no urges and really look at gambling with contempt, which pleases me.

I am also very happy that my gamcare friends Scotty and Stephen are doing amazingly and enjoying a better quality of life then they have for a long time without all the stress and despair that gambling brings.

Its now 4.30 am so I should really try and get some sleep.

Hello Lively. You are certainly not afraid of hard work ??‍♀️? and have a great deal more stamina than me lol.

Many thanks for the kind words you posted on my diary. The coming week will be magical as we both arrive at 100 Days GF.

Like your good self, I feel nothing but contempt for gambling and reading the horrifying stories that have brought people to gamcare simply reinforces my belief that gambling brings nothing but misery for compulsive gamblers and their loved ones.

One of my problems in the past has been complacency and I have fell flat on my face a few times so must always be on my guard. I have been woken a few times in the last week by dreams of gambling, so the addiction is obviously still lurking around somewhere in the outer reaches of my brain.

This is a golden opportunity to rebuild our lives and every gamble free day we will get stronger but there will be days when we maybe don't feel so good and on them days we will need to hang on for dear life, secure in the knowledge that tomorrow is always another day.

Many thanks for your continued support and encouragement.

Wishing you a super duper weekend.

Hello Lively ? hope you are happy and well. I followed the example of Scotty and yourself and spent too long in the sun today ??. Not overly red but I feel very tired so have come to bed.

Many thanks for your lovely post on my diary, nine minutes after I arrived at the 100 Day Club ?‍♂️. You are a real sweetie and your kind gesture was very much appreciated ?.

Wishing you a super duper week.

Oh I timed that very badly my dear friend Lively.

Just had a look at the diaries and read that you were visiting the chatroom but it was 9 o clock so as soon as I logged in there it closed down.

Hope you are keeping well. Catch you soon.

Love and best wishes

Stephen x

Hello again Lively.

Seems like the lock down is being eased a bit, does that mean you will have to start driving to work again every day? Hope not because you seem to be quite settled working from home. Hope the university is ok for your daughter to start in September

I had a lovely walk earlier to the pier. Quite a few people sat around but everyone was still keeping to their own space.

Wishing you a lovely sleep when you retire for the evening with the sweetest dreams you could possibly imagine.

Love from Stephen x

Thank you for visiting my diary Lively ?.

I have neglected the chatroom recently but will be there every evening if you are going to be in attendance. You give wonderful advice whilst showing compassion and understanding plus you enjoy a little lighthearted humour.

Will also visit Matt's Peeraid Chat tomorrow morning between 10 & 11 but I imagine that is in your work time so don't go twagging off on my account ??.

Nite nite sweet dreams

I will make sure I’m there tomorrow evening if you are. I have a schedule of meetings tomorrow so unfortunately, even if I wanted to, I wouldn’t be able to ‘twag off’ as you put it to make morning or lunchtime chat. ?

I can however, have an hour’s break for evening chat if I have the pleasure of your presence.

Better get back to working (although your message was a nice distraction)!

Night, night

Lively x

Excellent Lively ? look forward to seeing you in the chatroom tomorrow evening.

I shall be dressed smart/casual with a flower in my buttonhole.

Maybe I will bring along a small picnic ??.

You seem to be working a lot of hours good lady so please remember to take good care of yourself.
