Hello Stephen. How are you?

I appreciate your visiting my diary Changemylife and pleased you are upbeat and making positive plans. 

All is good in my world thank you and that is, without doubt, due to my stopping gambling.

1/ Nine months ago I finished paying off my debts.

2/ Six months ago moved to a cosy little flat in a pleasant neighbourhood. 

3/ Enjoying ongoing improvements to my state of mind. Developing self respect, more relaxed and regaining confidence in my own abilities. 

Roulette was my downfall but I can honestly say I have no desire to involve myself in that awful game ever again. 

Admittedly, I do occasionally get thoughts that it would be harmless to bet on football but I am constantly alert to the danger and aware of my vulnerability so I just bide my time until the unwanted thoughts have passed.

@aum That's amazing Stephen, I'm so pleased for you. You've shown great determination and belief that you could become a better person, and you have!

I feel like we have known each other for some time (well it's been about 5 years), and have walked side by side at times bemused at the wonders and craziness of the world around us. By the way, I hope you are still strutting around the dancefloor!

Thanks for showing interest in my project which has been ongoing for many years. In December I had some very encouraging news that the idea and prototype has been accepted by an international agency with the potential to bring the  product to manufacture. So fingers crossed. 

Anyway that's about it for now. Take care my friend,

Ps. Stopped dancing due to lockdown etc and not up to starting it again. Maybe in the summer I will give it another go ???

Hello Stephen hope all is well with you l would like to share some good news with my daughter is expecting a baby and it has given me more hope as I have been struggling with gambling thoughts so far not Acted on it but have been very close to it hope you don’t mind me writing to you just was thinking of you as one of your favourite songs that use the dancer in the kitchen came on the radio hope the weather is not too bad with you it’s nice and sunny here today your friend scotty??
