Rebecca,

Thank you. I am now 127 days GF.

I went on chat tonight for only the second time. Enjoyed it and found it helpful.

There are people out there who have similar stories or interests as me.

Home life is still very positive and the kids are back at school. Work life is not so good, very stressful, and alot has changed since going back. I am actively looking for a new job, however I am thankfull that I do still have a job.

Thanks again for all the support.

160 days gf today. For the first time in a while, I found myself missing gambling. I spoke with my wife about it and cleared my head.

My friend is going through similar to me, and his wife keeps his money and gives him a weekly allowance to gamble. This works for him but it doesn't work for me. Its not just the act of gambling, its the mood swings and the laziness to do anything etc etc, that accompanied it.

My wife has been great and we are still going strong.

Your doing awesome m8. Keep up the good work.

I am now 172 days gf. The urges have gone for now.

We had some news this week. My wife is pregnant. I am absolutely buzzing. Its not our first, but we have been trying for a while and unfortunately suffered more than one miscarriage. Fingers crossed all goes well this time.

I'm more determined than ever. 172 and counting.

Another week gone. Now 179 days gf. Christmas is the next stressful event. No savings, an unsteady job and kids to buy for.

We have talked about it and we will just cut back and do the best we can this year.

Stay strong ?

183 days gf now. I dont have any urges to gamble, however life itself is tough.

Finding it hard to afford basics each month. By the time all the bills and debts are paid, it doesn't leave much for food etc.

I have literally just finished paying my best friend back a substantial loan he gave me, and I have had to ask him again for a small loan. I find this is the worse part, as he has been the best friend ever and I know I'm pushing it, but things are getting there.

I had a wage garnishing, that is now finished and I owed my friend which is now clear. That saves 500 each month, which is alot.

Just need to get through this month.

Today though I will not gamble.
