As always looking at stories on this site , however, there are some weird people joining for a sick joke and commenting on people’s stories! They are just random comments nothing to do with gambling. They should be banned!

Day 44 had a good day - met a very good friend for a long lunch and went shopping and spent £100 on clothes something I wouldn’t have done had I still be gambling!

I totally get that feeling on spending, it’s a massive deal for me to do it but I’m learning that it’s ok to spend like normal people.its still weird ....well done so far mate

Thanks holycrosser. Being ‘normal’ whatever that really means is weird but a nice feeling. I’m beginning to like myself again !! I was hating myself and hating what i was doing, however never stopping. I go to work now proud of myself and feeling less guilty every day.

Hello again Poblwc,

I am encouraged to read that you have now passed day 50 and please do contact us if you need any additional support (I notice that you wrote earlier on that you would still likely be gambling if your blocks were not in place).  It's encouraging however that you took that action to block sites and that you recognise that you've been feeling good, and feel more like yourself when you are gamble free.  Keep up the great work.

Warm regards

Leigh
