Its been 3 weeks now and the feelings i'm getting from being gamble free are fantastic. Even though i am in a lot of debt i know now i can beat this. Just been to see a film with my friends!! And for once was able to enjoy it and forget my problem. I have accepted i'm a CG which is good as i always thought i could stop no problem. I'm aiming for a month now. I enjoy my life now and this WILL be my future

Feelings of guilt are hitting me hard this morning. I'v been on other sites reading peoples stories. I read Justin larcombe's story which i could relate partly to it. This has stunned me to see how far people go to gamble. Feeling very tearful about all the years i gave wasted . I'm more determined than ever to beat this addiction. I will keep reading these stories because otherwise i will be living in a fantasay world thinking everything is ok but i am on a long road to recovery but i will get to the other end

Yes very true. These days are going really fast now. I hardly miss it at all now. I'm in a new routine thanks to gamcare. I come home from work and check out the stories snd diaries. This is my new best friend now not those bingo sites!

Well its been a month since i joined here. Wish I'd joined earlier but at leasr i've done it now. I did gamble after a week quite badly but its been over three weeks now so hopefully this is it. The only way for me is to block everything and take temptation away as my willpower is not strong. Will take a lot if time yo pay off debt but this time will be less if i dont gamble ever again. The freedom of speech on this site has made life bearable again. I thought i was going mad till i reAd stories from others on this site and i knew i wasnt alone.
