Where do I start, where do I begin? Was there a beginning or was I just born a compulsive gambler, born with a illness. If have illness would take medication to treat it, support is my medication. I admitted defeat, I can't control it. It destroyed my life, but this can be beginning of rebuilding it.

No one is ever born a compulsive gambler. We are taught by repetition. We are conditioned by the industry through media to continue to repeat. Then they say ." But you had a choice". It is quite cynical. The more conditioned you become the fewer breaks you have on the car. But you teach yourself to become an addict so you need to teach yourself to not be an addict.

How do you do that? You accept that you are not in control. You start by asking for help so that you can get the tools you need to get some distance for a while. Then you start changing your behaviour. You ask yourself HOW can I change my day for it to be different. HOW can I make my life better. Instead of branding yourself a loser who don't have any prospects. We ALL have prospects and we ALL deserve to be here but you must change your record and you must choose a new channel so that you can allow that change. Every act you do now will define your tomorrow. So act. Make small changes now and you will see a profound change in the near future. Believe it and it will be so.

Best

C

At times, times that test us, even coming to end of this year, as we all know it been a hard year for all of us. Nothing seems to phase me these days.  It been hard year, but got thro it, I'm still in a lot better position than I was  this time last year. I've built a base, to work on. Nobody is perfect, it's not been perfect for me, still got things need to overcome and achieve, I haven't gambled for over a year, I can do the hardest, admitted this year i was a addict. As in better place now, got lot more control over things. Used to have impulsive moments with gambling, they were so hard to control, it's me that gambles. It me that wants to, accept responsibility for own actions. "As am in better place now, physically, mentally, emotionally, where do I wanna be, how do I wanna feel in 12 months time from now?"only I  can decide  and control the outcome of that thought.

Hi,

I'm not a virtual gamer or whatever, I'll be honest I don't know the first thing about it. Recently you described buying fiffa points. I really don't know anything about it. Do you stake these points against an opponent & is it a game of chance ?.  Please enlighten me.

Regards

Al
