Hi

Life with out Gambling addictions and obsessions are much healthier for me and my family.

With out my Gambling addictions and obsessions I do not have to lie, I can learn to heal my hurt inner child.

With out my Gambling addictions and obsessions I do not cause myself or other people pains.

Every pain in my life caused fears in me that I did not understand.

By being in recovery I am more mature, I am more accountable to myself and my family, I am more sincere caring loving and respectful.

By giving up my methods of escaping in my fears I am able to live ahealthy life today.

The addictions and obsessions were just symptoms that I was not a healthy person.

Please keep going to meetings, you will benefit from it in so many ways.

Love and peace to every one.

Hi

Recovery was much simpler living one day at a time.

The most important thing is Just for today I will not gamble.

For me recovery was very much like slow steady baby steps.

The addictions and obsessions were just symptoms that I was not a healthy person.

Please keep going to meetings, you will benefit from it in so many ways.

Love and peace to every one.

Hi HC. Haven’t been on here for a while. Great to see that you’re still doing well. Fantastic progress. I m 72 days today. 72 days which have made a massive difference to my life. Don’t feel any temptation and like you can look at me last two bank statements without shame and regret.

Well played sir.

Day 79;, pay day my 3rd on this quest, I do get regrets that I watch all my money coming out my wages and I’m left with very little for what I earn.

however it’s my bed and one day it will change, my debt is coming down, for 79 days I’ve not added to it, I’ve not been online to gamble and I haven’t stepped in a bookies since that gut busting £40 bet, thank god that horse finished second or I fear I’d still be gambling.

today I will not gamble and I’m now 21 days from my first milestone of 100 days.

have a great gamble free day

Day 82 begins.

Had a battle with my head yesterday, classic me , a deal went wrong and I paid way too much for something and I also bought some clothes that didn't fit and lost the receipt and my mind started to fret , guess what thoughts came into my head, yep " go on win it back " .

I came so close to saying " fk this just try it " .have to be honest and tell you all that, thankfully I didn't do it .The day ended well with me getting paid £330 on a deal.into the bank it went.Close call yesterday

Well done for not giving in to temptation.

Remember it’s a long term thing and yes, you could’ve made money back, but if that had triggered you, that money would’ve soon been gone.

82 days. Awesome. Stay strong.

Have a re-read of your own diary as another reminder as to why you’re here. You’re doing exceptionally well.
