You could say I had an epiphany and I now know I am firmly on the road to recovery! Yesterday was 29 years since my dad died when I was 13 and I swear that the day gets worse as each year passes! So for him that is it....I am calling time on wasting my money and life in online casinos. I am making what is always a bad day of the year a better one by being proud that I’m 1 year gambling free in 2021! He would be proud of me and I will be proud of myself! That’s it adios stupid slots!
I know I’m only on Day 2 but I’m going to beat the next 363!

Hi I just admitted to my mum today about my gambling , it’s the first step to recovery ... I’ve closed all my accounts online ... day one .
Well this epiphany is working! Tomorrow makes it a full 7 days which is the longest I’ve stopped in a very long time! I’ve had a few thoughts about playing but they’ve soon been eradicated when I think about how I will feel on my dad’s anniversary next year! The screensaver is working too as I just take one look and see him holding my hand! I will not fall off this wagon! @emlou99 that’s a great step #keepstrong
