44 days GF.

Life is good. No thoughts about gambling and feeling very positive.

Set back this week as a couple of things went wrong which ended up costing me £300. Money which I simply don't have so had to borrow money to cover the expenses.

Why do things seem to go wrong when you don't have any money ?

Bank Holiday weekend. Looking forward to a chilled out weekend spending some quality time with the Mrs and kids.

Have a good one everyone.

Dave

49 days GF, big 50 end of today.

Good bank holiday weekend, pretty quiet but nice spending some quality time with the family, sun was shining also.

Still no thoughts about gambling, even managed to watch some football and the snooker without the urge to gamble.

Have a good week everyone.

Busy week at work means that I had no thoughts about gambling.

Slightly different kettle of fish today. Already had a look at the football fixtures for today and could easily place a little bet.

Busy day with the family shopping so I won't be having a bet.

Payday on Monday, long overdue.

Have a good weekend everyone.

Hey Dave

Hope you had a gamble free Saturday, I know you where saying you will speak to your wife when the time is right, I believe when that time comes it will actually be a positive for you, having someone else to help you through this is huge, being alone with our thoughts we can easily talk ourselves into just a wee bet as.

Take care

Hi Jamie,

Yes gamble free day yesterday.

Little scared of the reaction hence why I haven't had the conversation as yet.

I'll get there soon.

Have a great day.

Feeling great. Started running again (ran 7.5 miles this week), eating well, work is busy, homelife is good. Very few thoughts about gambling !!

Still struggling financially but I'll get there, 1 day at a time.

Hi

67 days Gambling free days at one time that seemed so impossible.

I am pleased to hear you are feeling great.

While you are running you are being healthy and focused on healthy things.

Better than being in door doing nothing,

Nice to hear homelife is good.

When in action homelife was miserable.

In time you will become more financially stable with less fears.

Love and peace to every one.

Definitely getting easier, very few thoughts about gambling.

Busy at work, still running, eating better (not so much last couple of days), life is good !!

Looking forward to the good weather today. Get out and about with the kids, in the garden, few beers etc.

Have a good one everyone.

For anyone reading this who thinks they can't give up gambling, trust me you can !! Very very hard to begin with but as the days pass, it's get easier. Mental health, not stressing about money as much, it all gets easier !!

Still very few thoughts about gambling. Busy most days and still running and eating well. Going to join the gym in the coming weeks so very much looking forward to that even though I will be taken out of my comfort zone.

Since I stopped gambling, don't feel as anxious and withdrawn which is good.

Spent the day with the kids yesterday, took them out for the day and they had a great time. Saturdays before were spent drinking and gambling all day. Seeing my little ones so happy yesterday makes me happy and confirms that being gamble free and spending quality time with my family is 100% the right way to go.

Another busy week on the horizon at work.

Have a good Sunday people.

Closing in on the big 100. Never ever thought that would be possible a few months back !!

Still running and eating well. Even joined the gym last week and loved my first day there. Feel great after exercising, health and well being has improved massively.

Still struggling financially and receiving the dreaded debt recovery letters through the door as I am on a DMP, appears to be standard protocol from creditors chasing debt.

Thought the months would get easier financially but something always seems to pop up (car mainly) which thwarts my progress.

I have a plan until the end of year so should be in a much better place financially heading into 2023.

Money is not everything so need to stop stressing about it. All creditors will be paid, I have my health and my family which is way more important also.

Hi

Reaching 100 days gambling free is very powerful.

Just think of how many things I can achieve with out self destruction gambling in my life today.

It is very healthy running and eating well, you are looking after your self.

I was at one time struggling financially and got to understand there was going to be a healthy end to it all.

Sticking with your recovery program will cause so much more healthy things in your life.

I got in to the regular payments of five creditors and over time they reduced and then we go to spend money on things for our selves.

Yes rewarding our self for the good work I was doing.

In  2023 we you will be looking more forward to your future..

By reducing your fears you will  stop stressing your self out about it.

Yes our health and our family is way more important than any thing else.

Love and peace to every one
