I managed a couple of hours sleep, result ?. We have decided to head off for some retail therapy today. I don’t know why I call it therapy because I am not a fan of shopping but today I am going to make every effort to have some fun and enjoy it.

A lovely sunny day, gamble free.

Back home from a traipse around the shops with hubby. I have to say I have really enjoyed it, I bought a few bits and pieces. It still amazes me that I will procrastinate over the price of something that I really like when I think about what I would happily waste on gambling.  It's bizarre isn't it...Also treated myself to a facial. I haven't done that in a long time and it was amazing. I think I actually fell asleep, Maybe that means I am getting closer to being relaxed enough to sleep tonight. I am certainly less wired today which is good news.

I feel like making a bit of a feast tonight so next job is food shopping. Hopefully I won't be posting daft things in my diary at all hours tonight.

Good morning,

I didn’t write anything random in my diary overnight which means one thing, I got some sleep ?. Probably a good 6 hours or so so I am happy with that.

It is a gorgeous morning here, bright blue sky and the tiniest of breezes. First job of the day is to go for a walk and enjoy the weather. I’ll go and see the horses maybe. Later we are heading to my in laws and I am looking forward to that. Time to get out and walk ?‍♀️

This makes me very happy. Not the lack of random comments. They're quite nice, just that you finally got some rest.

Have a lovely Sunday pal.

I have just been for a short jog. I know it may not sound like much but it is the first time I have been able to use my leg like that since I first injured it a couple of years ago. It feels like a big moment because my leg reminds me so much of my gambling history. I am happy right now ?

Evening diary,

Vinnie, thank you for making me laugh! I so needed that!

All is well in the Murlo household even if have talked the hind legs someone off for the last couple of hours. I found chat hard in parts tonight but that has passed.  Here’s to some sleep ?

Morning,

Not so much sleep last night but I at least got some rest. I have things to do today so will be occupied in a constructive way hopefully.

The weather is beautiful here this morning, a little frost and a bright blue sky which means only one thing, time for a walk and maybe another go at a jog if the pavements are ok ?

Good morning Murlo,

I commend you for your efforts overnight for those that were in need, you did a really good thing staying up and providing that constant support.

My respect for you has gone up another notch.

Hope you have a good day. Stay safe

Afternoon diary,

It has been a busy but mundane day so far. One GP and one hospital appointment for me, one hospital appointment for my friend. I did get out for a lovely walk first thing this morning, no jogging though because the pavements were still a bit icy.

I had a long chat with my GP about my current wellbeing and my wishes. I have his support and I am really pleased about that.

The sky is still blue here so I am going to head for some more fresh air while I can. Have a few folk popping in and out for the rest of day at home so I will make the most of the time that I can to myself for a bit.

I think I that is every one come and gone that’s visiting us and my friend today. Time for a lazy, chilled deliveroo (or other alternatives exist) evening ?
