However what if it wasn't fully our fault? What if we were let down by the industry that we once saw as a bit of a flutter?
Many operators have been at fault due to lack of Social Responsibility. Customers who have shown signs of problem gambling wether it be via chat logs, emails, opening multiple accounts with the same operator or even by te unusual activities on deposit amounts. Where signs are evident, operators are required to act. If they did not, then they may have breached their social responsibilities as set by the UK Gambling Commision.

I see where your coming from with the whole social responsibility thing but in my humble opinion it's far better that I accept responsibility for my addiction instead of looking to lay the blame at the feet of another .
I understand completely what your saying about the gambling industry as it does entice you with it's promises of fortune and definitely needs regulating more but then I could say the same of any big fast food or drinking chain as both create problems but not always , nor for everyone .

I agree we need to take self responsibility
it would be nice to get some of the literally thousands Iv wasted and could have used on buying a house, how I so want to rewind time and wished I could have shouted from the roof Help so much sooner. It’s ok to say gambling provider should take more responsibility but how many people and I include myself ignored the signs of this becoming s problem and would you really have listened? I didn’t!
