So today is an emotionally raw day for me as it is a anniversary of a death of a parent a trigger for my gambling...  Gam ban is in place and this website is my home page when I go on my phone.

I am armed with my tablet with downloaded programmes to avoid the adverts on the TV while I'm not sleeping great.

Taking one day at a time really scared for how my finances will plan out over the next few weeks but had my first gam care counselling session today and the lady was really helpful she advised me to concentrate on changing one thing l a day so today was speaking to the people about my house and advised its really important that to be myself over the weekend.

Trying super hard.... X

Hey you're doing amazing. I just focus on a day at a time and this way you don't put too much pressure on yourself.

You can do this 🙂

I get what you mean about triggers that propel you into a situation like gambling. I too have lost loved ones and admittedly I used it as an excuse to gamble and drink excessive alcohol. But ultimately we should be strong willed and consider the consequences. Good luck with your journey ahead.
