Hello Scotty my dear friend. Hope you are keeping well.

Many thanks for visiting my diary, your kindness and humour brought a smile to my face.

Everything is good in Hull. Ducks still paddling around the old docks and they are always pleased to see me ???. Or maybe its  the moistened mealworm they are pleased to see ?.

Dear @scottydogg

So sorry to hear you've been mugged. It sounds like you've had a terrible time with your injuries, pain and nightmares. We hope you've been offered support after this crime. If you haven't got in touch with Victim Support already, you might find it helpful to contact them: https://www.victimsupport.org.uk/. You can also talk to the Samaritans about anything on 116 123.

Well done on not letting this derail your recovery. If you ever do feel you need support with gambling you know you can contact us on 0808 8020 133. We're here 24/7 throughout the holiday period. We hope you have a good Christmas and New Year.

Best wishes

Deirdre

Hello Scotty. Hope you have made a good recovery after the vicious assault on you. Bouncing back from something like that will have been very difficult but the wounds will heal, confidence will grow and your courage, strength and resilience will never leave you.

Hope you have been able to get out for walks with the Scotties during January. Getting out in the fresh air always makes me feel good.

Many thanks for visiting my diary. Your support has been a great help in my recovery and your success in stopping gambling has been a constant source of inspiration to me.

Best wishes

From Stephen ?

Many thanks for visiting my diary Scotty.

Next weekend you will be celebrating 2 years gamble-free and I will certainly be fist pumping the air as a sign of respect for your great achievement.

Despite having to cope with traumatic events, along with managing your seizures, you have soldiered on relentlessly and in doing so have proven yourself to be a man of courage and honour.

It’s not be all plane sailing I have had some very bad moods and came so close to gambling again but this news has made look at my life and know I can’t put the past right but I am the only one how can make sure I keep up all the hard work I have put in place over the last 2 years I could not have done it with out the help of gamcare and my long suffering wife so thanks to all my gamcare friends
