Hi Diary not been on for  while Life is really hard at the moment not Sure much point in carrying on One disaster after another  421 days Free but it’s hard I just need a break when you think one thing it’s better another problem comes up  think you’re making progress Health is so bad Got to be away out I have  tried to end my life two Months ago it was more to do with health than gambling but I think it all plays a part I am so down pills are making it worse so dr has told me to stop taking them I have come To the conclusion if I Gamble it will  make better but we know it won’t  scotty ??

This makes me sad to know your mood is low and know that once you shake off these blues the you Scotty we know is there. 

Life's very ziggy zaggy.. I know myself of late How gambling has temporarily lifted me but in the same sentence destroyed me. Its just old devil gambler trying to lure you back 

I do hope your health both physical and mental improve.

I am so sorry to read your struggles of late and how difficult things have been, especially around your health.

Please don't feel like you are alone when feeling low, we are here 24/7 to talk. You can also call the Samaritans on 116 123 also 24/7. 

I appreciate when we are feeling so low it isn't always easy to talk or we might not even want to, but sometimes being alone with our thoughts can be painful.

Many thanks for visiting my diary Scotty and a big thank you for being a major part of my recovery. 

This weekend will see me 300 Days gamble-free and your support has always been invaluable.

On many occasions I have been inspired by the courage and resilience you yourself have shown over the the last 14 months. 

Your recovery from gambling addiction was never going to be easy. Your life was turned upside down by the covid lock downs and health issues which caused you great distress. 

But.... you battled on Scotty and that is what gave me strength when I was at a low ebb. 

You took the Scotties walking whenever possible and that motivated me to get out walking more. That has helped me greatly. 

I don't know your current circumstances dear friend but I believe you have it in you to overcome adversity and enjoy whatever life throws at you. 

You are a gamcare warrior and I feel proud to have shared this journey with you. 

The past is now a long way behind us and insidious gambling will not feature in our lives any more. 

Let us look to the future with hope in our hearts.

I wish life was as easy words I have given my self a big kick up the a.. and told myself stop all the self pity I now the which friends are real it’s hard to think you spend most of your live doing loads for people who you think are friends only to find out they have been lying to your face and how you deal with all the things to told them so I lent someone some money not lot £150 they then told my wife that I spent it on gambling and that I did not lend it to them mrs scotty was very angry and left for two nights I was on the brink of thinking  well might was gamble to get it back but she phone me to say she was coming home to talk  it was then I realised I had a text from so-called friend to ask me to lend him money I quickly took a photo printed it out showed Mrs Scotty Thank God she has believed me and said she was sorry but I should Talk to her about lending money as she had start to trust me again with bank card and the money I can’t believe friend 30 years to do that It broke me well of to take dogs for a walk These two are friends and I need thanks for your kind messages.

How awful Scotty sounds like your so called ''freind'' is the one with the problem and there definitely not a 'freind' to do that to you, glad you had the original text for mrs scotty

hope you enjoyed walking the dogs, dogs never let you down..only when they eat a shoe,pull up a carpet or wee inside lol.

Not all have ur best interests at heart, your doing amazing being gf  with everything that has been thrown at you over the years , your a true fighter don’t let the actions of a wolf in sheep’s clothing take u back to a place Uve fought so hard to stay away from you’ve got this ??
