Hi scotty, would it be easier to write an email to them expalining that you are in recovery for a gambling addiction and that you wish to close your account, self exclude and them to withdraw your money its better in writing.

However if its going to be a big trigger and you had forgotten about it you could accept it a loss. It might sound a lot of money to loose but if you started gambling again how much more would you loose.

Well done your your recovery so far despite having some tough times with your health your doing amazing

Scotty

thanks for popping by fella I was humbled by your kind words

fella It took 8 years of trying to understand that asking for help was a strength in recovery and not a weakness

honesty is the greatest tool in my recovery today, addiction taught me to lie without conscience, I accept how powerful honesty is today.

keep on keeping on fella

just for today

Glad your enjoying walking with the dogs Scotty. It is good to get out in the fresh air.

Sorry you are in a bit of a dilemma regarding some money the bookmaker owes you. I have never gambled online so cannot offer any advice.

Alarm bells do ring though as you mentioned the account was opened on your wife's phone and I know you wouldn't wish to do anything that might cause friction between you.

You have been open and honest with your wife and in return she has stood by you so I can understand you not wishing to jeopardise that trust.

It seems to me your best move is to tell your wife about the money and together decide what to do about it.

However, I know nothing about your circumstances so please take my advice with a pinch of salt.

You are a good man Scotty and it pleases me to share this journey with you.

Respect and best wishes.

Hello Scotty ? hope you are keeping well and getting out and about with the dogs.

Everything good here in Hull. No snow yet but it is forecast for early next week.

The ducks in the old dock and marina are ok and send you their regards ???. My friend Carlie the Coot seems ok but always on her own (or hanging out with the ducks) and sometimes looks fed up. It amazes me they don't catch cold sitting in the water but I never see them coughing or sneezing.

Best wishes.

Aum ?
