I am gamble free and have been for a long time.
However, the world is gambling on its future with some very strange practices.
Just been listening to a program on radio 4 about antibiotic resistance in bacteria and how 85% of the antibiotics end up in our oceans. Very disturbing and the levels measured give great cause for alarm.
The program also mentioned that last year, the UK imported 30,000 tons of human sewage from Holland for spraying on our farmers fields.
I do hope they didn't put it on the fields where my vegetables and porridge where growing ? ? ?.

Eagerly looking forward to my new microwave arriving this afternoon, courtesy of Argos.
Purchased it in the shop this morning and impressed with the quick delivery.
It is funny, sad and tragic but I must admit that the addiction has told me a dozen or more times that I could win the money to pay for it on a fobt machine by travelling to where I am not self excluded.
This always happens whenever I buy something new that might be classed as a luxury item so not at all surprised.
I believe that every time I say NO to the addiction than it gets weaker.
