Gamble free

Cos that is the way I like to be.

Pleased I downloaded the (Free) BBC Sounds App last month. Loads of great music, documentaries and all sorts of interesting programs.

Sultanas seeds assorted nuts 

Mixed up with my oats

Than ventured to the waterfront

Admiring birds and boats

Alas on me the rain did fall

But it was only light

And from the banks of the Humber

My world it looked just right

Now many months gamble free

Carefree and at ease

Tonight's treat veggie sausages

With broccoli spuds and peas

Wishing everyone a contented gamble-free future.

Hello Diary.

Been enjoying myself with plenty of fresh air and exercise. Went out for a walk at noon and returned at 5 o clock. Loads of people out walking around the waterfront which is not surprising because it has been a lovely day.

My life is looking pretty rosy to be honest. It is over half a year since the last gamble and I have not the slightest urge to have a bet. 

I think empowered is the word I'm looking for because it feels like I have got my life back.
