My last bet was Sunday..

I had a bad few days beforehand winning on the Friday then blowingit all an much more more on the Saturday n sunday .. I decided enough was enough.

I already have gamban on online accounts from previous time I had a similar situation

Sunday evening I decided freeze mu bank bard to gambling sites this is reversible tho altho I have no plans to do that so far an it does take 48 hours

All week been OK was a itittle low on Monday partly thinking about the money I've lost an a part thinking I goin miss some parts of goin bookiesx reading the racing post an picking the horses out

Go forward 5 days an ive just got up been fine all week had a couple of restdays  from work where I've been out for lunch with partner an other day relaxed on sofa catching up on tv today is a big day as one  my local tracks haydock park racing normally whenever possible I would be goin but today I'm not im feeling OK tho it's  ashame I carnt think il go an just set a limit of what I can afford like many people do an have an enjoyable day ..but I start overspending when losing so best stay away

I'm actually OK tho an confident I can watch it on TV an not even leave the house to place any bets

Today will be 6 days since my last bet I've had a couple of what u can call low days but all ok at moment an confident I can keep this goin 6 days out of my 100 day challenge not to bet ..   cheers

Hi Kris,
well done on not gambling for six days, I have not placed any get for twenty days believe me this is going to take time a lot of time, being a compulsive gambler means the urge to place any kind of bet can creep up on you very quickly and then you are back to square one,I strongly advise you not to watch the racing on the tv all you will do is keep feeding your addiction,go for a walk go for a drive do anything other than have anything to do with gambling, I wish you the best and hope you can stay gamble free.

Hi

It is nice to get back to being focused and motivated to healthy habits.

I use to put things out and not be very productive.

This helped me over come my emotional trigger of being bored.

I also wrote out my need to do list and my want to do lists.

Then in time I started to face more challenges.

I use to be scared of computers.

I use to be scared of trying new challenges.

Then I understood that by me not trying new skills I was cheating myself.

I use to justify myself by saying I was to busy, some body stopped me from getting things done.

When I try to justify myself I do know I am cheating myself.

Please do not give up on your self.

Love and peace to every one.
