Hello all.. What a delight light days are.. Busy here painting fencing. Dog walking.. Trying to train to. Henry is now 1 year old. Full of life.. He barely gives me time to dwell on previous life.

Thats not to say i dont get the fleeting guilt moment, the why was i sucked into it thought, but what can i do to change that.. Answer.. Build on it. I got it wrong so i could get it right is my belief.

I think of you all here often, those old members, new and those waiting to enter.

Im off now to potter about, then out for a 70th birthday lunch at the local. Nice food, company and then a trail walk with Henry.. What better day could i wish for..

Take care all...

Boo ?

Hi

I was very much frozen in my fears before walking in to the recovery program.

You are painting fencing I am staining front porch panels.

I am in lots of pain yet this kind of pain is far healthier than the emotional pains I use to put my self trhough.

Your 70th birthday I just celebrated 75 years birthday in March junior

Yes Nice food and healthy company I was willing to waste all that away running away in my fears.

Once you understand what you were missing during my addiction I do not want to go back to that painful sufferreing any more.

Love and peace to every one

@boo-radley

Boo,

You seem happy and content which is fabulous.

I agree that the light nights make a huge difference. Going out for a run in the nicer weather is lovely and I just love this time of year.

Happy BDay to Henry - how quickly a year goes by.

I’m enjoying being out in the garden and once again trying to make my grass look like Wimbledon centre court on Day 1. Painting the fence for me usually comes around July time - not my fave job to do admittedly.

Take care.

Good morning.. Off for jubilee run with my friends and sure to be a coffee and cake stop too.

Rain at mo but that can change

The world seemed alive yesterday, so many people about, the park was brimming. We should have a jubilee every week maybe.

Thoughts and feelings on gambling at this time are I would say healthy. I don't feel as harsh on myself as I did and urges seem diminished. I feel really for the first time in almost three years in control. So many emotions have taken me through my journey. I hope my present state remains for a while.

Everyone enjoy your BH whatever your plans, let's hope for sunshine. My plans are mainly family time and throw in a park run and Sunday run.

Take care all, boo ??

Hi

With out my gambling it is a Good morning for each one of us.

There was a time that rain and bad weather use to get me angry.

For me also the world seems so much alive now I am more aware and connected with people.

It is nice to think that gambling at this time is less important in my life today.

I can achieve and so so much more with my time and family today.

I would say that today I have teh choice of being so healthy and free of fear today.

Yet it is nice and much healthier to not feel as harsh on myself a day at a time.

It seems so much simpler to be more focused on healthy interactions rather than hiding in my fears.

Processing our emotions and feeings in a healthy way empowers me today.

Our present state of mind feeling secure and at peace is some thing I do not want to lose today.

Having healthy worth while plans are mainly family time and healthy interactions rather ran living in pain and my fears.

A Sunday run sounds like fun..

Love and peace to every one
