Hello.

Weekly update.

Enjoying the weather and had a good run today 8 miles.

Family member has had a liver transplant operation this week so thoughts are all over the place at times.

No gambling and nor do I want to. A once casino friend got in touch with me this week. It was pleasant enough chat but no desire to re. Join with the same vices. Hubby heard me on the phone and I felt proud of myself for reinforcing my abstinence in ear shot..

Tomorrow's, another hot one so it may be a mr whippy treat.

Oh and the best news.. We've had another dog.. He's a beaut. Scoffs his food and very playful. Our sheer joy...

Tonight is a take out.. And film..

Life is good..

Please keep my bro in law in your thoughts.. As, the donor also as another beautiful lady said she will today..

My thanks

Boo ?

Hi there Boo,

So good to catch up with your posts. Firstly well done on reaffirming your abstinence on the phone, actions often speak volumes, and that one totally does.

So glad to hear you have another dog now, as your previous pooch gave you such happiness and joy! I will of course keep your brother in law in my thoughts during this time.

Best Wishes

Steven x

Hello

Nice but tiring week. Hot weather exhausting.

Been generally OK. Thanks for all thoughts with brother in law. Steady progress being made.

Work tomortow. Then days off. Need to do some exercise. Little new pooch has 2nd vaccine next week then it's the open road after that. Lots of walking.. He's a labrador so it will be sniff sniff chew the flowers.. Tried put his harness on today.. What an ordeal.. Doubt I will ever have time to even think if gambling again now with this little Fella,.. He's my joy. ?

All for now

Hello all.

Busy week last week work n such. Garden work still ongoing. Delay as builder got called to other job.

Weather iffy..

Still I'm getting out and about. Don't half feel tired somedays. But then a new pup is busy work.

Still gf. Despite finding an e. Mail in junk file offering bonus plsy.. Will confess it got me sweating a bit with anxiety. Anyway I've sorted it so no more trespassing e. Mails hopefully will sneak in.

I'm not going back to that way of life.

Anyway.. Pup asleep so time to sort house out. Its like a bear pit ???

Stay safe all. Boo ?

Well done on taking action on that email right away. Just in case anyone else is struggling with unwanted marketing communication and advertising from gambling companies, I'm posting some useful guides from the Gambling Commission:

Well rain rsin rain..

Reasonable week. Feeling a butc reflective about a few things which triggers bit of anxiety. Think because I feel a bit let down by a couple of friends but nothing major to affect our friendship but they have disappointed me. Anyway plenty to do with growing pup.

I'm OK. Running a bit. Working hard at work. Lots of absents so short staffed. Makes things crazy some days.

Tne sky is just grey..

Netflix later.. And so  glad cinema is on again. Went to see jungle cruise other day.

Anyway all for now.

Stay safe all.

Good Morning Boo,

I hope you are well.

Being able to get out running and spend time enjoying your new puppy sounds fabulous. Just reading that reminds me how much we should appreciate things in life. Not so long ago we were locked in and everything was so uncertain. It reminds me to start living life to the full again. I need a big, big shake. I’ve got 6 days off and I intend to get out in the fresh air as much as possible.

I signed up for a marathon in May 2022. I intend to train very hard for this.

Boo,

I am so sorry that I haven’t responded to this yet. I’ve read your post several times and keep getting interrupted when trying to reply.

So, fabulous post. I love it. I can tell how happy you were when you posted it.

Great achievement on the Great North Run. Magnificent effort. I’ve never ran that race before. I would like to but would probably do it with a sleepover in Newcastle. That would be a great weekend.

We’ve only just returned to Parkrun. I do it with my son who’s doing ever so well. It’s a great way to start your weekend.

Good for you. You made me happy reading your happy thoughts.
