To my lovely Boo,

Many congratulations on your gamble free year. I can remember the early days of our friendship when we'd make chat our room with flowers and bean bags and it was something great to look forward to every lunchtime.

Thank you for injecting fun into my recovery.

I hope you have a splendid day.

Love you lots

Good Morning Boo,

I am delighted to congratulate you on a year gamble free. Such a tremendous achievement. You have worked ever so hard on your recovery and you have been a special addition to the forum.

I hope you have a fabulous day.

You should feel particularly proud of yourself today. Giving up anything is difficult but quitting gambling for a year is a wonderful achievement and takes courage and discipline. Well done.

RR

Thank you all.

Your warmth and kindness means so much

It's hair cut day today.. Shop for something for tea. Other than that casual stuff about the house.

Darker nights are indeed descending on us.. Let's hope winter contains this virus more. We need some hope amidst the chaos.

Hope all are keeping well. Gf. Too.

The autumn colours are beautiful here. So sharp. And trees still heavy with leaves.

Scotty boo still chugging along.. Losing weight. But this reflects on her age and appetite. No pain. Sleeps a lot still.

Anyway for now...

Bye

Boo ???

Hey Boo,

I know I haven’t come across you before, but I am humbled by your diary.

I have just spent my Sunday afternoon reading it from start to end, and found it amazing reading your progress. You have every right to be proud of yourself, and big congratulations on your one year gf!

I started a diary and it lasted 2 days, this has inspired me to start mine back up again, even if to read it for my own use.

Best wishes. Steven x

Morning and it's a dark one too yet... Couldn't sleep but nothing troubling on my mind if that makes sense. Just had a long day at work and I suppose my body and mind couldn't go into complete shut it down mode.

So.. Need to stock up on essentials  today so Mr. Tesco will be seeing me soo. Then home for some home made soup and but tie.. Trying to adhere to diet. Then meeting friend whose been a bit peaky for a walk..no gambling. No desire either.

I wish I could say the gambling chapter was closed. In a, way it is. It was a former life. Its just the memories and total lack of logic as to why I did it pinch at times. But then I say to myself everyone has regrets.

Little scottie boo snug in her den.. Still chugging along.

Everyone stay safe. Try not yo get too downhearted.

Love boo

Morning.

Had a busy  old week with no thoughts or gambling pressures. Feeling OK. Bit tired. But winter etc.  Covid crisis still lurking about everywhere.

I'm busy doing a bit of wallpaper stripping at mums house so that keeps me busy today us shop. And buy new hoover. Need new scatter cushion too.

Pretty much settled otherwise. Little Scotty still chugging along albeit more wright loss to her.

Oh halloween tonight. Please no callers in the nicest possible way. Usually get some treats but wide berth this year.

Anyway. Stay safe.

Take care

Morning. A bit busy with life at mo. But thsts a good thing.

Lockdown  equals a fair bit of misery for a lot. Let's hope and pray.

I had a dream about a haircut last night. I'll be googling later.

Dull. Wet here.. Little Scotty asleep

No thoughts as to gamble really. I'm a bit resentful to at the mo as I could do with a fair bit money complete house. If onlys mustnt be allowed to pull me back though.

I've used money unwisely in the past and I must now accept the consequences.

Anyway all for now.. You all take care. Boo ?.

Good Morning Boo,

Ive been reading your posts but not been able to post for a few weeks so sorry Ive not replied to your messages.

ive had a hectic last few weeks, a bit stressful to say the least but thats over now.

Weve both done well this past year so lets both focus and appreciate that and look forward to the build up to Christmas. Christmas as a non gambler is the best. I love this time of year and we’ve both put ourselves in a tremendous position to enjoy it to its max.

You take care.

Midweek. Week 1 nearly done of our lockdown.

Feeling OK still busy. Still working. Still no gambling although the thought of buying a lotto ticket crossed my mind the other day so as I could profit enough to finish work and buy a bungalow. A castles in the air moment. No crime in daydreaming.

Other than that I can confirm we  stick with tradition and put our festive decorations up mid December.

Off to work soon..stay safe all
